Buying on Country is an interactive online program developed by the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) in partnership with Aboriginal Affairs NSW. It helps buying organisations and industry partners build culturally respectful and ethical procurement practices that strengthen genuine Indigenous businesses. Through self-paced modules, videos, and case studies, learners explore key policies, understand how to prevent black-cladding, and apply best-practice approaches that drive fair and sustainable economic outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Buying on Country is an initiative of the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC), the peak body for Indigenous businesses in New South Wales. We work to empower Indigenous businesses through capacity building, certification, and meaningful connection to procurement opportunities. This e-learning platform was created by Indigenous-led teams and insights from Indigenous business owners, to ensure the content reflects lived experience and policy expertise.
